OK OTrip Trial Period Has Ended

Jakarta Governor, Anies Baswedan witnesses MoU signing between PT. Transportasi Jakarta (Transjakarta) and 11 small transportation operators. This signing also becomes the end of OK OTrip trial period.

I want all operators to comply the Minimum Service Standard

Based on beritajakarta.id monitoring, this MoU is signed by representatives from each operators. Those are PT. Transjakarta President Director, Budi Kaliwono and Jakarta Transportation Dept. (Dishub) Acting Head (Plt), Sigit Wijatmoko.

Then the other 11 operators are from Koperasi Wahana Kalpika, Budi Luhur, Lestari Sukma Gema Persada, Puskopau Halim Perdana Kusuma, Kompamilet Jaya, Komilet Jaya, Komika Jaya, Kolamas Jaya, Purimas Jaya, Kojang Jaya, and PT Kencana Sakti Transport.

9 Small Bus Operators Signed Catalog Contract

Anies mentioned, transportation management in Jakarta is entering the new stage. Because this MoU signing is the first step in order to integrate all public transportation in Jakarta.

"We should collaborate to provide benefits and optimize our public transportation service in terms of comfort, safety, and affordability for all residents. My appreciation to all of you who have facilitated transportation for Jakarta residents," he conveyed at City Hall, Monday (10/1).

He hopes, this transportation integration can encourage more people for not using their private vehicles to increase their mobility. Thus traffic congestion in Jakarta could be solved.

"I want all operators to comply the Minimum Service Standard thus more people will be interested to use public transportation," he affirmed.

After OK OTrip trial period is over, he continued, it is the time for the real implementation. Integration will be given a new name related to integrated mass transportation modes.

"All related components will have the same authorities. Hopefully, this program can give profit to operators, while residents can be also benefited both in short-term and long-term," he conveyed.

PT. Transjakarta President Director, Budi Kaliwono informed, number of Transjakarta bus passenger continues to increase.

"Through this integration, we want more people to use public transportation," he stated.

For information, OK OTrip trial is started on January 15, 2018. OK OTrip service users only need to pay Rp 5 thousand maximum for one trip within three hours travel time, including while taking Transjakarta bus.
